PrivacyAccount project metadata
When you are signed in, CasePath can save account project metadata. This may include project title, course, task type, stage, status, due date, short summary, counts, and timestamps. It does not save assignment files, full brief text, full rubric text, drafts, teacher feedback, uploaded file text, extracted file text, AI prompts, or AI outputs as account project metadata.
You can export account project metadata from Account. You can also delete saved account project metadata. Deleting account project metadata does not delete browser-local projects stored in your current browser and does not delete your sign-in account. Full account deletion is not enabled yet; it requires a separate privacy operations process and provider runbook.
TermsAccount metadata boundary
Some signed-in features allow you to save project metadata to your account. Account project metadata is limited to structured project information such as title, course, stage, status and timestamps. It is not a full assignment storage, cloud backup, online backup, or file storage service.
Deleting account project metadata removes saved metadata from account project metadata storage. It does not remove browser-local projects stored in your current browser and does not delete your sign-in account.
Academic integrityLearning support, not misconduct
CasePath helps students understand, plan, check and revise. It does not provide hidden authorship, fabricated evidence or a complete submission. CasePath account metadata features are designed for project organisation and progress tracking. They do not store or submit assignments on behalf of students.
AI usage boundaryAI is off by default.
External AI requests require explicit configuration and authorization. API keys stay in the local server process and are not stored in the browser. Account project metadata export does not include AI prompts or AI outputs.
Data handling and deletionAccount metadata storage
Stored in account metadata: project title, course, discipline or task type, stage and status, due date, short summary, counts, created, updated and archived timestamps, and whether a local import fingerprint was recorded.
Not stored in account metadata: assignment files, full brief or requirement text, full rubric text, drafts or previous drafts, teacher feedback body, uploaded file text, extracted file text, AI prompts or AI outputs, and local file paths.
Signed-in users can export a JSON copy of account project metadata. Signed-in users can delete individual account metadata records or delete all account project metadata. Deleting account metadata does not delete browser-local projects stored in the current browser. Deleted account metadata cannot be restored in CasePath in this stage. Account deletion requests, Clerk account deletion, provider deletion and privacy request intake are not configured yet.
