Export before clearing data.

Local JSON export remains the portability path for all browser-local content. Account recovery stores only the bounded structured state needed to continue the CasePath workflow. Keep original assignment files and an independent backup.

Export downloads each project's brief, rubric, drafts and analysis results as browser-local JSON. Older Workspace projects may include pasted brief, rubric, draft, code, table or chart notes. The backup is not encrypted.

Account recovery excludes uploaded file bodies, unbounded original file text, hidden file metadata, raw AI payloads, local paths and API keys.

Import reads the file in this browser and merges projects by ID. Nothing is uploaded by import or export.

Backups stay on this device unless you move or share the downloaded file.
