Fix missing work before polishing sentences.

What it means

Review the draft in an order that protects the assignment's requirements, evidence and authorship.

How to do it

1. Check task coverage

Find unanswered questions, missing deliverables and rubric criteria with no visible evidence before editing style.

2. Check the evidence chain

Resolve unsupported claims, source-identity problems and unexplained calculations before final formatting.

3. Turn findings into revisions

Each revision should say what is wrong, why it matters, where it occurs and what to do next.

4. Separate feedback sources

Teacher, tutor or marker feedback is source input. CasePath findings are product analysis. Feedback about CasePath is about the tool.

Worked example

Replace “improve discussion” with “after Figure 2, explain why the variance matters to the decision and state that the chart does not prove causation.”
