Resources · Plan the work
Make each Task small enough to finish and verify.
What it means
A useful plan connects one requirement to one observable output and one next action.
How to do it
1. Start from a requirement
Choose a deliverable, criterion or unresolved question. Do not create work only because a tool or method is available.
2. Define the output
Name what will exist when the Task is done: a calculation, evidence table, section outline, chart explanation or revision.
3. Choose the evidence
Identify the source, data, method or feedback needed. If evidence is missing, the next action is to obtain or verify it.
4. Keep software conditional
Use Excel, Python, R or another tool only when the task or method requires it. The software is not the Project structure.
Worked example
Instead of “do analysis”, use “compare base and downside NPV, save the assumption table, then explain which input changes the recommendation.”
Common mistakes & limitations
Coursework check
Can you state the purpose, expected output, current status and next action in one short block? If not, split the Task.
